 What's New for the 2024 Lexus ES?

The 2024 Lexus ES is a prestigious sedan defined by its stunning design and excellent performance. This mid-generation vehicle benefits from several improvements across its trim levels and packages, adding to its already profound appeal.

For the first time, two F Sport trims are available. The F Sport Handling joins the F Sport Design, and both come in your choice of three powertrains. The three engines offered for 2024 include a base 2.5-liter, four-cylinder unit that generates 203 horsepower and a 302-horsepower, V6, 3.5-liter engine. In addition, a hybrid version of the four-cylinder engine is offered and delivers 215 horsepower. These are the same powertrains offered in the other 2024 ES trim levels.

The new F Sport Handling builds off of the features available in the F Sport Design with aluminum pedals, aluminum cabin trim, adaptive dampers, park assist, and drive modes for Custom and Sport+. It also has heated sport seats, a heated steering wheel, and a unique instrument panel. The F Sport Design's features are 19-inch black wheels, a rear spoiler, and special exterior accents.

The Luxury and Ultra Luxury trims also see a few improvements. In 2024, they are offered with Vapor Chrome finish on new 18-inch alloy wheels. In addition, a new Technology package is added. This package adds card key access, a head-up display, a navigation system, and a 12.3-inch touch display screen. These trim levels come with other features that carry up from the 2023 ES and are offered in the lower trim levels. These include wireless connections for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, forward collision mitigation, lane keeping, adaptive cruise control, wood trim, a wireless phone charger, driver's memory controls, parking sensors, a heated steering wheel, and heated front seats.

Overall, the style of the 2024 Lexus ES is unchanged. This four-door sedan is sleek from front to rear, with a fastback roofline and sophisticated accentuation streaming across the sides. The nose has an aggressive quality with a drop-down, hourglass grille featuring a radiating mesh pattern. The LED-enhanced headlights and the tapered air vents trend inward to highlight the grille's shape.
