The Lexus GX is a standout SUV thanks to its combination of luxurious styling and a truck-based frame. In 2024, this midsize SUV enters new territory with the launch of its third generation. While the GX continues to be built on a strong, resilient frame, it has been spectacularly redesigned to express ruggedness and sophistication. The recognizable, boxy profile is now masterfully chiseled with crisp accents throughout the sides and hood. The molded fenders have an innovative look, and the front fender's shape leads directly into the arch in the LED headlights. A bolt-style LED ribbon bolsters the headlights. The black grille has been reshaped as well, and its unique shape is impacted by the body-colored element that rises up from the bottom. Select trims have all-terrain tires, roof rails, a hands-free power liftgate, powered and heated side mirrors, foglamps, and other equipment.

In addition to its captivating style, the 2024 Lexus GX has beefier capabilities with the debut of a new engine. This twin-turbo V6, 3.4-liter gas engine will impress you with its 349-horsepower output. Four-wheel drive and a 10-speed auto transmission are standard across all GX trim levels. Some trims also have a skid plate, electronic locking rear differentials, multi-terrain assist, downhill assist control, and an electronic-kinetic dynamic suspension system. The Lexus GX can tow up to 8,000 pounds.

The 2024 Lexus GX's cabin has also been sharply redesigned and boasts a tall dashboard with a wide center console and stack. The cabin layout offers seating for seven, but you can upgrade to second-row captain's chairs with seating for six. The many features available in the GX are wireless Apple CarPlay with Android Auto, a 14-inch touch display screen, a charging station, a 10-speaker sound system, a head-up display, a power sunroof, heated seats, a push-button ignition, and other captivating features. All of the 2024 GX trims come with the Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 suite. These features include lane departure detection with steering assistance, adaptive cruise control, pre-collision safety equipment, and more.
