What's New for the 2024 Lexus TX?
In 2024, the Lexus TX joins two other three-row SUVs in the lineup. While the LX and GX are built on truck platforms with distinctive off-road capabilities, the TX is engineered for a comfortable ride on highways and city roads. This SUV is distinctly styled with a modern twist on Lexus's recognized body language. It has an A-style grille with body-colored, horizontal crossbars, and this is topped by a thicker accent bar that links the triangular LED headlights. The fog light ports have a diamond-like shape. From the side view, the TX shows off its commanding height and chiseled accents across the lower perimeter.
This is a three-row model that provides ample space for seven adults. However, captain's chairs are available for the second row to trim passenger seating to six. The 2024 TX is beautifully styled with high-end, soft-touch surfaces and leather upholstery. All three rows have power-reclining functions. The 14-inch touch display screen in the center stack adds the functionality of knob controls. The TX's many other cabin features include a head-up display, wireless smart device app connections, a Mark Levinson audio system with 21 speakers, and seven USB-C ports.
The 2024 Lexus TX is remarkably safe to drive, thanks to the Safety System+ 3.0 technologies. These include steering assistance with lane keeping, lane departure mitigation, a pre-collision safety suite, and adaptive cruise control. Parking assistance for both perpendicular and parallel parking is available.
There are three powertrain options for the 2024 Lexus TX. The TX 350 comes with a 275-horsepower, turbo 2.4-liter, four-cylinder engine. The TX 500h has a hybrid variation of this four-cylinder engine, delivering 366 horsepower. Both of these systems have an auto transmission as well as the option of either all-wheel or front-wheel drive. The TX 550h+ is a V6, 3.5-liter hybrid system with all-wheel drive. It delivers 406 horsepower and has an all-electric range of 33 miles.
