Discover the 2025 Lexus RZ: Expanding the All-Electric Lineup

In 2025, Lexus will expand its line of electric vehicles with the introduction of an entry-level trim for the RZ. The RZ is a sophisticated, luxury crossover SUV with brilliant engineering and a full array of desirable features. The all-new RZ 300e joins the RZ 450e in the lineup. Both are available with Premium and Luxury packages.

The RZ 300e has a single electric motor and a front-wheel drive layout. It delivers 201 horsepower and has a range of 266 miles based on the standard wheel size of 18 inches. With an upgrade to 20-inch wheels, the range is 224 miles. The updated form, available in 2025, reduces noise and vibration for a more comfortable drive.

This is compared to the RZ 450e, which is unchanged from a performance perspective. It has a double-motor system with a rear eAxle and a Direct4 system. It produces 308 horsepower. With 18-inch wheels, it offers a 220-mile range. This decreases to 196 miles with 20-inch wheels.

Both RZ options have frequency reactive dampers, which adjust performance based on road conditions. The trims also come with a front MacPherson strut-type suspension and a rear trailing arm multi-link configuration. The Active Hydraulic Booster in the braking system regenerates the battery while you drive while also enhancing posture.

The RZ's aerodynamic profile supports its performance. Its look is boosted by a lean, tapered rear and edgy, streaming accents across the sides. The hood is mounted low to enhance the RZ's sporty look, thanks to its lack of an engine.

Inside, you can enjoy a panorama glass roof with a dimming function and a low-e coating. The driver can take advantage of a 10-inch head-up display, steering wheel-mounted controls, and shift-by-wire tech on the shifter knob. Additional features are active sound control, radiant heating, NuLuxe upholstery, five USB ports, a 14-inch central display screen, cloud navigation, and Intelligent Assist.
