2025 Lexus GX 550 Premium+ vs 2025 Lexus GX 550 Luxury+
Serving Chicago, IL
The premium Lexus GX stands apart from other Lexus models with its boxy shape and off-road capabilities. This midsize SUV comes with three rows of seating and ample cargo space for groceries and weekend gear. Six trim levels are available, including mid-level options like the Premium+ and the Luxury+. What are the core differences between these GX trim levels for the 2025 model year?
Performance
Every 2025 Lexus GX trim level is comparably engineered. It has a V6, turbo 3.4-liter engine coupled with a 10-speed auto transmission, a 349-horsepower system that comes with standard four-wheel drive. The GX 550 Luxury+ adds electronically adjustable suspension dampers for enhanced performance.
Appearance
The GX 550 Premium+ and Luxury+ exterior differences cover only their features. The Premium+ is equipped with 20-inch wheels and a hands-free liftgate. The Luxury+ adds 22-inch wheels and power-deploying running boards. The Lexus GX is styled with a tall, flat roof, hood, and curved nose. The unique grille shape features angled sides with an almost boomerang-like shape. The LED-adorned headlights illustrate this same shape. The 12-spoke wheels have a dual-color design and flared, squared-off fenders. Thick molding underscores the door panels, and angular creases trend toward the rear.
Features
If you select the 2025 Lexus GX Premium+, your SUV will be loaded with plenty of features. These include an automated parking system, a heated steering wheel, a wireless device charger, a surround-view camera, a power-folding third-row, a heated steering wheel, driver's memory settings, adaptive cruise control, forward collision mitigation, a blind-spot warning, a sunroof, synthetic leather upholstery, heated front seats and a household power outlet. The Luxury+ builds on these features with massaging front seats, adjustable tint on the sunroof, second-row sunshades, a digital rear mirror, a Mark Levinson premium audio system, and a cooled center console.
