2025 Lexus RX 350 vs 2025 Lexus TX 350

Serving Chicago, IL

The Lexus RX has been a leading contender for SUV shoppers in need of a third row for years, thanks to its engaging design and overall luxury. This midsize SUV introduced its fifth generation in 2023, and it has only a few minor updates for the 2025 model year. In 2024, Lexus debuted the TX as an alternative three-row SUV. Both of these models share an entry-level trim called the 350. What are the primary differences between the RX 350 and the TX 350?

Performance

If you select the 2025 RX 350, your SUV will draw 275 horsepower from a turbo 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine. The eight-speed auto transmission pairs with all-wheel drive. The RX 350 is the only RX trim level to be available with the F Sport Handling package, which adds upgraded brakes and a sport-tuned adaptive suspension system.

The 2025 Lexus TX 350 comes with the same engine and transmission as the RX 350. However, it features standard front-wheel drive or optional all-wheel drive. Like the RX 350, the TX 350 is available with an F Sport Handling package. With this package, you benefit from standard all-wheel drive and a sport-tuned adaptive suspension system.

Appearance

The Lexus RX has a sporty look, tapered, rounded nose and raked rear. Its unique look is brought to life through a contour on the lower door panels that swells over the back fenders. The grille has a flared shape as well. It is flanked by sporty air vents that feature a linear, pointed accent. The narrow headlights also point inward. They are styled with three bulbs underscored by an LED bar.

The Lexus TX has a flat roof with linear accents running across the otherwise smooth door panels. The fenders are modestly enhanced with a pinstripe accent. At the front, the flared grille has horizontal, stacked bars and is topped by a slender LED element. This light extends to connect with the LED ribbon that tops the headlights. Below the headlights, the angled air inlets are capped on the top and bottom with metallic accents.

Features

The RX 350 is available with five sub-trim options. These sub-trims include features like a panoramic glass roof, a wireless phone charger, a head-up display, premium leather upholstery, parking sensors, a 14-inch central display screen, a digital rear mirror, automated parking, a Mark Levinson sound system, a tri-zone climate control system, and more.

The Lexus TX 350 is offered with three sub-trims. Some of the features offered by the RX 350 are available in the TX 350. Additional features available are a road noise control system, power-reclining and power-folding seats in the third row, and more.
