The compact Lexus NX crossover and the midsize RX are both available with fuel-sipping hybrid versions. The 2026 NX Hybrid and the 2026 RX Hybrid both carry all of the luxury and style that you expect from your next Lexus, but they are remarkably individualized. What should you know about these hybrid crossover SUVs before buying your next Lexus?

Performance

The two NX Hybrid trim levels are the NX 350h and the NX 450h+. The NX 350h is outfitted with a 2.5-liter, four-cylinder hybrid engine that generates 240 horsepower. The NX 450h+ is a plug-in hybrid option that mates the same four-cylinder engine with two electric motors. It puts out 304 horsepower and has a 34-mile all-electric range.

The RX Hybrid has three trim levels: the RX 350h, the RX 450h+, and the RX 500h. The RX 350h is equipped with a hybrid 2.5-liter, four-cylinder engine that produces 246 horsepower. The 500h features a hybrid turbo, 2.4-liter, four-cylinder engine, producing 366 horsepower. The 450h+ is a plug-in hybrid version of the RX Hybrid. It features a turbocharged 2.4-liter gasoline engine paired with an electric motor. This is a 304-horsepower unit that offers a 37-mile all-electric range.

Appearance

The Lexus NX Hybrid makes a bold statement on the road with its aerodynamic profile and sculpted side panels. The angled definition rolling down the hood links flawlessly with the A-frame grille. The grille drops down through the bumper, flanked by tall air inlets and slender LED headlights.

The Lexus RX Hybrid shows off an arched roof with tapered side windows. On the sides, the high-rise doors have smooth surfaces with a powerful swell that rounds over the back fenders. The grille is comparable to the NX Hybrid's grille. The headlights feature a bolt-like LED element, as well as three additional LED bulbs.

Features

Some of the many features available in the 2026 NX Hybrid include automated parking, heated front and rear seats, a 14-inch touchscreen display, a head-up display, a 17-speaker Mark Levinson sound system, forward collision warning, leather upholstery, and more.

The RX Hybrid is available with many of these features, as well as four additional speakers for the sound system, premium leather upholstery, a panoramic glass roof, ambient cabin lights, a wireless phone charging pad, and a few other features.
