Lexus Electrified: What We Know About the 2025 Lexus RZ and Future EV Models

2025 Lexus RZ Electric SUV Charging in Parking Lot

Lexus has a strong reputation for being at the forefront of automotive evolution, and it proudly debuted its first all-electric SUV for the 2023 model year. This model continues on and is known as the RZ, which is offered with your choice of single-motor or dual-motor layouts.

The RZ 300e has a 201-horsepower, single motor with front-wheel drive, while the RZ 450e has a 224-horsepower, two-motor system with all-wheel drive. The battery range is 266 miles. The RZ displays a sleek profile with a long, swooping hood and a rounded nose with a flat grille. The contouring on the sides spins off the front wheel for a powerful look. Its many features include a Dynamic Sky sunroof, semi-automatic parking, a Mark Levinson sound system, and a 14-inch infotainment system display screen.

In addition to the RZ, Lexus is working on several other all-electric models. These include the LF-30 and the LF-Z concept models. The BEV will also be released, and it is offered in sedan, SUV, and coupe body styles. The LF-30 introduces what may become the future of Lexus's design language and shows off upcoming features. The LZ-F sits on the Pure EV platform. It uses a Steer-by-Wire system and Direct4 tech. The BEV ES sedan is scheduled to be released in 2025. The BEV SUV will be released the following year and offer three seating rows.
